Monster Cookie Bike Ride
The Monster Cookie Metric Century Bicycle Ride is the Salem Bicycle Club’s premier spring event and Oregon’s first bicycling event of the cycling season. This will be the 42rd year of the ride. ORbike has ranked the Monster Cookie as the 3rd best supported ride in Oregon for 2017. The ride starts at the State Capitol Mall in Salem and takes riders over gentle scenic back roads to Champoeg State Park and back to Salem. The route includes parts of the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway, three beautiful and historic State Parks- Oregon State Capitol Mall, Champoeg State Park and Willamette Mission State Park, and the proposed Salem bike boulevard neighborhoods. As always there will be tons of locally baked cookies and other fresh food items with friendly volunteers at the rest stops. Your reward at the end is a Monster Cookie! This is a recreational ride and is open to all bicyclists who agree to Share the Road with other users by riding safely, lawfully, and courteously. Each participant must wear a helmet that meets CPSC requirements. available at local bike shops.

To Register for the ride, go to the www.salembicycleclub.org Salem Bicycle Club's website, mail-in registration forms applications will be available at local bike shops. There will be day of ride registration.
